Position:

Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager – Sales & Marketing

Key Deliverables:

  • Sales & Marketing of Nylon, other engineering plastic compounds and TPEs
  • Marketing & Business Development with molding and extrusion sectors
  • Applications development by working closely with the end industry
  • Sales management with Key Accounts and direct customers, India / Export sales
  • Distribution management and Order planning on Monthly and Quarterly basis
  • Receivables collection
  • Customer Relationship management
  • Understanding technical requirements of customers and facilitating the right product with the help of technical team
  • Visiting customers and markets and preparing timely visit reports
  • Market intelligence, competitor mapping, market trends
  • Co coordinating with plants and internal logistics teams
  • Preparing MIS reports and presentation for the management.

  • GRP’s Industrial Polymers (GRP-IP) unit is an ISO 9001:2008 certified thermoplastic compounding business which has created niche market by offering unique value added solutions for the customers. It develops, manufactures and supplies following cost-effective and sustainable products:
  • Unfilled Nylon 6
  • Nylon 66 Compounds
  • Thermoplastic Elastomers
  • Specialty Additive Master batches
  • These products find applications in various end use sectors like automotive, industrial, construction, electrical and electronics and consumer goods. Industrial Polymers has state-of-the art compounding facility in Solapur, Maharashtra. It is the first Indian company to commercialize the concept of recovery and reuse of Nylon from end of life tires. The company is also 5S certified and driven by SAP ERP system.

Preferred experience in:

  • Engineering thermoplastic compounds of Nylon 6 & 6,6 / PBT / PC / ABS,Knowledge about Tier I,II & II moulders in India,Knowledge of Indian Engg. thermoplastics market is essential, knowledge of overseas markets is desirable, Knowledge of Indian engg. thermoplastics market is essential.

Desired skill set is:

  • Managing Sales and Channel Management
  • Techno-commercial Marketing
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills with internal & external stakeholders
  • Effective use of internet, magazines, social media for market development
  • Good presentation skills

Education:

  • BE / B Sc. / M Sc. in Polymer Science/ Plastics / Chemistry + MBA or PGDBM in Marketing.

About the product:

  • The company is manufacturing composite materials using 100% recycled waste materials. The product is novel and a new entrant into the polymer technology area. The products are eco-friendly and are stronger and more durable than traditional materials. The products are well suited for variety of application in sectors such as military, logistics, construction, oil & gas, aviation, marine and agriculture. The product is currently being 100% exported. This product shall replace wood so candidature will be preferred for understanding application of wood and wood industry, wherein this product can replace wood.

Preferred experience in:

  • In Selling similar new concept product to an uncharted markets. In selling to big corporates and or big dealers is essential.In concept selling and addressing big buyers hence mastery of the key account management process is essential. In penetrating new markets.

Desired skill set is:

  • Concept selling to prospective buyer

Position:

Senior officer/ Assistant Manager-Purchase

Location:

Purchase/Procurement

Key Deliverables:

  • 1.Purchase of engineering and other Materials:
  • a. Floating Enquiries & Obtaining Offers.: Identify vendors & Issue enquiry & obtain offers
  • b. Preparation for Commercial Negotiations.
  • Obtain Tech. Recommendation from user.
  • Review requirement and obtain clarifications, if any, from user / Project Manager and vendors as case may be.
  • Generate comparative statement.
  • Make arrangements for commercial negotiations
  • c. Generate PO:
  • Generate PO (in SAP).
  • Send PO to supplier & obtain acknowledgment.
  • d. Expediting
  • Expedite with vendor for supply as per CDD. This includes visit to vendor shop.
  • Support Project Manager to meet the commitments.
  • 2. Vendor Development for engineering and other materials
  • 3. MIS

Industry:

Education:
